Project Promoter and Project Partner Guide was published!

15.03.2021 The Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic as the Programme Operator of the "Climate Change Mitigation and Adaptation" (SK-Climate) Programme, funded by the Financial Mechanisms of the European Economic Area and the Kingdom of Norway in the 2014-2021 programming period published Project Promoter and Project Partner Guide effective from 15th March 2021.

SK-Climate Programme: Information on the Call for Proposals No. 3 (Code ACC05) ClimaInfo

08.03.2021 The closure of the Call for Proposals No. 3 (code ACC05) "Awareness raising on climate change adaptation and mitigation" (ClimaInfo) funded by the Norway Grants and the State Budget of the Slovak Republic was on 26th February 2021.

The SK-Climate Programme is entering the Project implementation phase within the ACC01, ACC02 and ACC03 calls

02.03.2021 At the end of February 2021, the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic, as the SK-Climate Programme Operator, concluded Project contracts with 6 cities and 28 schools, which succeeded in the selection process within the calls ACC01, ACC02 and ACC03. Thanks to the increased allocation for the ACC02 call, Project contracts are expected to be concluded with 3 other cities from the Reserve list during March - April 2021.

State of play of the Call ACC05

02.03.2021 On 26 February 2021, the Call for project proposals No. 3 (code ACC05) „Awareness raising on climate change adaptation and mitigation“ (ClimaInfo), financed from the Norway Grants and the State Budget of the Slovak Republic, was closed within the Programme SK-Climate. Within the Call ACC05, 36 project applications in the total amount of requested project grant 11 710 793 EUR were received.

UPDATE Calls for Project proposals No. 4 (code ACC04) - ClimaLocal within the Programme SK-Climate has been prolonged!

24.02.2021 The Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic as the SK-Climate Programme Operator issued Guidance no. 1 to the Call for Project proposals No. 4 (code ACC04) which prolongs the submission deadline. The new submission deadline in case of both calls is 31st March 2021.

15.02.2021 The Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic as the Programme Operator of the SK-Climate Programme, in close cooperation with the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate (NVE), The Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning (DSB) and the Norwegian Environmental Agency (NEA) as the Donor Programme Partners, organized an on-line event focused on establishment of bilateral project partnerships within the Call No. 4 (ACC04) „Restoration of degraded wetland ecosystems“ – ClimaLocal (so-called “Matchmaking Event”).

SK-Climate Programme: Overview of Entities in Norway Within the Relevant Area in Relation to Consideration of Possible Partnerships

08.02.2021 The SK-Climate Programme Operator compiled a non-binding overview of potential bilateral Partners, with contact information of entities from the Kingdom of Norway, which in previous Calls have expressed interest in establishing a bilateral partnership or which in previous Calls were involved as bilateral Partners in Project Applications and entities that were identified by the Programme Operator as potential Project Partners in the Call No. 4 (ACC04) ClimaLocal. Applicants under the Call No. 3 (ACC05) ClimaInfo may consider contacting these entities for the purpose of establishing a partnership. Please note that the list has been compiled on the basis of publicly available information and these entities have not been officially contacted by the Programme Operator for cooperation under the Call No. 3 (ACC05) ClimaInfo.

03.02.2021 The Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic will additionally support 3 Project Applications from the Reserve list within the Call No. 2 (ACC02) entitled “Action plans for mitigation and adaptation implemented by local authorities in urban areas" (ClimaUrban).

18.11.2020 On 6th November 2020, the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic, as the Programme Operator of the programme "SK-Climate - Climate change mitigation and adaptation" implemented within the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area and the Financial Mechanism of the Kingdom of Norway in the 2014-2021 programming period, issued Decisions on the award of grants under the Calls ACC01, ACC02 and ACC03.

16.11.2020 The Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic, as the Programme Operator (hereinafter referred to as “PO”) of the "Climate change mitigation and adaptation, SK-Climate” programme - funded by the Financial Mechanisms of the European Economic Area and the Kingdom of Norway in the 2014-2021 programming period, in close cooperation with programme donor partners, such as the Norwegian Water Resources and Energy Directorate, the Directorate for Civil Protection and Emergency Planning and the Norwegian Environment Agency, would like to inform you about the planned Calls for project proposals within the SK-Climate programme.

The Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic has supported projects for action cities and greener schools in the field of climate change from EEA and Norwegian grants within the SK-Climate programme

10.11.2020 The Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic as a Programme operator of the SK-Climate programme (financed by EEA and Norway Grants 2014 - 2021), on 6 November 2020 based on the recommendations of the Selection Committee approved the project proposals under the Calls ACC01 and ACC02 titled as “Action plans for mitigation and adaptation implemented by local authorities in urban areas” (ClimaUrban) addressed to a Slovak cities with a population over 15,000 and under the Call ACC03 titled as “Awareness raising on climate change mitigation and adaptation at schools” (ClimaEdu) for primary and secondary schools.
