Results of the selection procedure of the Call ACC02 - update
The Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic will additionally support 3 Project Applications from the Reserve list within the Call No. 2 (ACC02) entitled “Action plans for mitigation and adaptation implemented by local authorities in urban areas" (ClimaUrban).
This Call was addressed to Slovak cities with a population over 15 000 inhabitants and was focused on support of the elaboration of action plans for climate change mitigation and adaptation in the urban areas and the implementation of specific measures in line with the action plan. Following the entry into force of the Addendum No. 1 to the Programme Agreement for the financing of the SK-Climate Programme and the increase of the allocation for the Call ACC02 by more than 2.6 million euros, Decisions on the award of grants for Project Applications of 3 Slovak cities – Košice, Šaľa and Brezno, have been issued on 2nd February 2021.

Thanks to new action plans and specific measures for mitigation and adaptation to climate change in urban areas implemented within the supported projects, we can contribute together and in the public interest to increased climate change resilience and responsiveness of the cities to climate change and sustainable quality of life of their inhabitants.
