Supported projects

19.09.2023 At the end of February 2021, the Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic, as the SK-Climate Programme Operator, concluded Project contracts with 6 cities and 28 schools, which succeeded in the selection process within the calls ACC01, ACC02 and ACC03. Thanks to the increased allocation for the ACC02 call, Project contracts are expected to be concluded with 3 other cities from the Reserve list during March - April 2021.

14.09.2023 The Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic as the SK-Climate Programme Operator concluded in February 2022 Project Contracts for 2 Projects and in April 2022 Project Contract for 1 Project approved within the Call No. 3, code ACC05 „Awareness raising on climate change adaptation and mitigation (ClimaInfo)“. In September 2023 the SK-Climate Programme Operator following the increase of the Programme allocation concluded 1 project contract. Projects are financed with the support of Norway grants and the State Budget of the Slovak Republic in the total grant amount of 1 073 277 EUR.

14.08.2023 On 10th August 2023, the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic, as the SK-Climate Programme Operator implemented within the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area and the Norwegian Financial Mechanism 2014-2021 issued, under the for 1st round of the Call for award of additional funding for contracted Projects, Decision on the award of additional funding (Project grant).

22.02.2022 With effective Project Contracts the SK-Climate Programme entered the Project implementation phase of Projects which in the context of climate change will contribute to restoration of degraded ecosystems of Slovak wetlands. Three Projects will be implemented in partnership with a Donor Project Partner from Norway.

27.10.2021 On 26th October 2021, the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic, as the Programme Operator of the programme "Climate change mitigation and adaptation" (SK-Climate programme) implemented within the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area and the Financial Mechanism of the Kingdom of Norway in the 2014-2021 programming period, issued Decisions on the award of grants under the Calls No. 3 (code ACC05) and Call No. 4 (code ACC04).

21.06.2021 The Ministry of the Environment of the Slovak Republic as the SK-Climate Programme Operator concluded in June 2021 Project Contract with the Slovak Environment Agency for Pre-defined project “Climate change and environment education centre (Living Lab) in Dropie” (PdP1). The project is financed by EEA Grants and the state budget of the Slovak Republic in the total amount of 1 200 000 EUR.

18.11.2020 On 6th November 2020, the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic, as the Programme Operator of the programme "SK-Climate - Climate change mitigation and adaptation" implemented within the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area and the Financial Mechanism of the Kingdom of Norway in the 2014-2021 programming period, issued Decisions on the award of grants under the Calls ACC01, ACC02 and ACC03.
