The Program Operator of the Climate change mitigation and adaptation programme - SK-Climate, would like to inform you about the cancellation of the Call for smaller scale activities – the so called “Travel grants”
According to the decision approved within the Written Procedure of the Cooperation Committee No. 04/2021, the Call published under the code ACC_BF 01, financed from the Fund for Bilateral Relations of the EEA and Norway Grants under the SK-Climate Programme, was cancelled on March 29, 2021.
The cancellation of this Call was desirable due to objective circumstances related to the worldwide spread of the COVID-19 virus beyond the control of the SK-Climate Programme Operator, Applicants and with consideration of the recommendation of the Government Audit carried out in the framework of the SK-Climate Programme.
The travel grants under this Call were provided for short-term initiatives in the partner country with clear bilateral profile, serving the purpose of strengthening bilateral relations between Slovakia and the Donor States – Iceland, Liechtenstein and Norway and closely were related to SK-Climate Programme outcomes and outputs.
Under the Call, it was possible to apply for a flat-rate allowance for travel costs and travel allowances for the implementation of bilateral initiatives with a maximum allowance of up to EUR 5,000. Funds in the amount of EUR 50,000 were provisionally allocated. Within the Call, which was launched on 15 February 2020 and temporarily suspended due to the pandemic situation on 16 March 2020, two project applications were received in a total amount of EUR 7 882. Due to objective reasons, project activities cannot be implemented therefore the Programme Operator did not signed any project contract within this Call.
