Results of the selection process of the Calls No. 3 (ACC05) and No. 4 (ACC05) within SK-Climate Programme
On 26th October 2021, the Ministry of Environment of the Slovak Republic, as the Programme Operator of the programme "Climate change mitigation and adaptation" (SK-Climate programme) implemented within the Financial Mechanism of the European Economic Area and the Financial Mechanism of the Kingdom of Norway in the 2014-2021 programming period, issued Decisions on the award of grants under the Calls No. 3 (code ACC05) and Call No. 4 (code ACC04).
Call for Proposal No. 3 (code ACC05) „Awareness raising on climate change mitigation and adaptation“ (ClimaInfo)
Call for Proposal No. 3 (code ACC05) financed from the Norway Grants and the State Budget of the Slovak Republic was addressed to all entities established in the beneficiary country as legal entities, public or private, commercial or non-commercial entities and non-governmental organizations. The Call was focused on support of activities aimed at increasing the awareness-raising on climate change mitigation and adaptation, considering the principles of informal learning and targeted at a wide range of target groups.
Call was launched on 15th December 2020 and closed on 26th February 2021.
The ambition of the Projects under this Call is to contribute to increasing the climate literacy2 of the individual through a combination of soft and hard measures by disseminating the latest scientific knowledge, innovative approaches and best practices on climate change mitigation and adaptation with regard to the practical use in everyday life.
Under this Call, 36 Project Applications were submitted in total amount 11 710 793 EUR of requested Project Grant. The SK-Climate Programme Operator issued a Decisions on the award of grants for 3 Project Applications in total amount of available Call allocation 876 838 EUR. 11 Project Applications are listed on the Reserve List and 22 Project Applications have not been approved.
Call for Proposal No. 4 (code ACC04) „Restoration of degraded wetland ecosystems“ (ClimaLocal)
Call for Proposal No. 4 (code ACC04) financed from the Norway Grants and the State Budget of the Slovak Republic was addressed to all entities established in the beneficiary country as legal entities, public or private, commercial or non-commercial entities and non-governmental organizations. Call was focused on support of measures for wetland loss and degradation reduction, revitalization of wetlands, restoration of their ecosystem services and public awareness raising on the importance of wetlands in the context of climate change. A unique aspect of the Call was support of bilateral cooperation of Slovak Applicants with entities from Norway in order to gain and share experience and know-how within projects in the area supported by the Call.
Call was launched on 15th December 2020 and closed on 31st March 2021.
Under the Call ACC04, 8 Project Applications were submitted in total amount 6 186 509 EUR of requested grant. The SK-Climate Programme Operator issued a Decisions on the award of grants for 6 Project Applications in total amount of available Call allocation 4 800 000 EUR. 2 Project Applications have not been approved.
